Here we check to see if ports commonly used by Trojan Horse programs and other common TCP Services are able
to see your external internet connection (Modem, Broadband, ethernet, etc).
This test may be used to validate firewall rules and ensure your firewall is working.
You may already be behind a firewall in which case expect to see Port Scan or Denial of Service attempts
from IP Address 217.160.135.209 in your log
files. During this process we simply attempt to open the port & immediatley close the port. The duration of the tests
are between 10-30 Seconds, possibly a minute dependant on your connection speed.
No information is
collected and nothing can personally identify you during
this process. If you take the test you are granting us permission to connect to your equipment to perform the tests
as described above. We do not accept any liability for any consequences arising out of the test.
